How to Cast Small Metal and Rubber Parts

A book that I just discovered which could come in very handy for other Stop Motion animators. "How to Cast Small Metal and Rubber Parts" is suitable for those who are interested in making their own models or armatures. The book goes into loads of detail on how to cast brass, bronze, other metals and rubber. It also covers how to setup you workshop, selection of materials and how much it would cost. Given that's there's a few copies of this on the site for less that a £5 there's no reason that amateur stop motion model makers should not be making their own parts.

London Fashion Week

There's been a lot of debate about the models in London Fashion Week having to be shaped like twiglets so that the untalented designers can hang clothes on them like a hat stand. But I don't really have a strong option about it.

I was however reminded of the "models" sketches from 2DTV.

I did think about a quick animation but I needed to find 2 actresses with sexy voices, a bag of flour and some pipe cleaners.
